Ciays 28 Inch Square Propane Fire Pit Table: common questions
Is the Ciays 28 Inch Square Propane Fire Pit Table any good?
With 5.9 out of 10, it ranks 8 of 25 fire pits in our comparison. Strength: 50,000 btu burner. Weakness: no warranty term stated. Best for a first fire pit table on a small patio.
How big is the Ciays 28 Inch Square Propane Fire Pit Table?
It measures 28 by 28 inches and stands 25 inches tall. It weighs about 57 lb.
How long does a propane tank last on the Ciays 28 Inch Square Propane Fire Pit Table?
A full 20 lb tank holds about 430,000 BTU. At the full 50,000 BTU, that is about 8.6 hours of flame. Most people run it lower, so a tank usually lasts longer. Keep a spare tank if you use it every weekend.
Can I use the Ciays 28 Inch Square Propane Fire Pit Table under a pergola?
Only with an open roof and the overhead clearance the manual states. A louvered pergola with the louvers fully open is close to open air; with the louvers shut it is a covered patio, and most propane fire pit manuals do not allow that. Never use it in a screened-in or enclosed space, and keep fabric shades and curtains well away from the flame.
Is the Ciays 28 Inch Square Propane Fire Pit Table CSA listed?
Yes, the listing says the burner is CSA listed (or CSA certified). That means a lab tested it to the North American standard for outdoor gas fire pits.
What warranty comes with the Ciays 28 Inch Square Propane Fire Pit Table?
We found no written warranty term on the listing. Amazon's return window still applies, so light it and check every part as soon as it arrives.
